Hades game-pad Controls

This is not for playing with a keyboard. Hades does require you play with a controller of some sort, so this listing is using controller buttons.

This is not an extensive controls listing, but I think everything important is covered. Overall there aren't that many buttons to be pressed, so it is a short list.

Controls

Note: These are game controls. mod specific controls are in the readme within the mod's .zip download.

D-pad: move in the menus, and move character in game.

Left Analog Stick: Move in the menus, and move character in game.

Square/X: Normal attack. Pressing this three times in a row goes through a three attack sequence for your weapon. Some weapons may require it to be pressed twice, or to hold it down.

Triangle/Y: Special Attack. Some weapons may require it to be pressed twice, or to hold it down.

Circle/B: throw your cast at an enemies. Once the cast is thrown you must go to it and pick it back up using RB/R1. This is also used to go back in menus.

X/A: Dash in the direction you are facing. X/A in combination with a button on the D-pad or left analog stick dashes in that direction.

Start: Used to pause the game.

Select/Share/Back: Used to bring up the boon menu. You can press LB/L1 on the boon menu to bring up the OCR friendly listing of all your artifacts and your current health and effects. Pressing Square/X on the boon menu after a room is cleared will present you with a OCR friendly listing of doors you can choose from.

R1/RB: Used to interact with items on the map. This could be doors, dropped items after a room is cleared, or to pick up your cast.

L1/LB: Open Codex

R2/RT: Call, also used to give nectar to a NPC in exchange for a keepsake.

L2/LT: Summon
