Here you will find 2 patterns for the strip mall. the first showing how to get round the first 4 stores. The second includes the fifth and sixth stores once they open up.
Pattern 1
You start in the truck facing west.
first you have to cross the store room. Head west. once out of the truck and on the metal side step left 2 or 3 times to line up with the door in to GW Cellular.
Once through the door, you will reach the cheep phones. turn north here.
From here you have to navigate past different things to reach the connected servess area on the east wall.
Run north. if you hit the customer counter quickly side step left once or twice to keep heading north. once you have gone 5 or 6 steps start side stepping right while moving forward . This will get you in to the connected servess area.
Note: The connected servess area connects GW Cellular with the video rental store.
Once in the connected servess area runn a few steps north then side step left while running forward to go through the second opening in to video rental.
Once there keep heading north for about 5 or 6 steps then turn west.
Here you will reach a wall. turn south and keep running.
note there are shelves of videoes in the middle of this store you may have to run down to grab crates.?
You will hit windows. these will break later in the mission allowing you to run in to the parking lot. but at first you will have to first head east and find the opening that is always there.
So head east 8 tiles then turn south.
As soon as you hit concrete which will only be 2 or 3 steps. turn west and start running through the parking lot.
note the parking lot is the hardest part. All zombies spawn out here so the swarms are big and the lag can be really bad.
Now your heading west. run about 10 steps. then start side stepping right. your aim is to get in to the candy store.
Once inside the candy store your going to run in a square. first turn north. if need be say you hit something. side step right till you hit the wall.
Once you hit the wall running north. turn to face west.
Run west. another wall. and turn south.
South you will reach more windows.
Turn east. Run 10 tiles. then turn south to go back out on to the parking lot.?
note the windows will break here in the candy store which will allow you to go pretty much straight out.
Now out of the candy store keep running south. side step 2 or 3 times left past any cars or poles in the parking lot.
You will either hit a grass section. or you will reach the south boarder. If you reach the grass section keep going till you hit the south boarder.
Once you hit the south boarder turn and run east.
Once you hit the wall of the shoe store. turn and run north.
Run 10 to 12 tiles then turn east.
Run another 10 to 12 tiles side stepping any obsticles then turn north.
Run north the aim being to get out in to the servess alley.
Once in the alley run till you hit the wall then turn west.
Run west till you hit the parking lot turn north and run back in to video rental past GW Cellular.
note this run around the outside of GW Cellular should allow you to hear if crates have spawned in GW Cellular or the store room near the truck.
Once back in video rental turn east.
Once you hit the wall. turn north again. 5 or 6 tiles and you will be level with the connected servess area we came out of to reach the video store to begin with.
either head back in to GW Cellular if you heard a crate there. or head north and continue the pattern from the video rental steps.
Pattern 2
There are several variations of pattern one that you can use once the windows have broken. i will be leaving most of pattern 1 in this secondary pattern. and just adding the sections for the jewelery store and the renovated business. Both of these stores can be open at the start. but very rarely are either open at the very start.
You start in the truck facing west.

note this place is small with counters and shelves and can be tough to navigate.
Once your moving north. side step left till your pressed against the wall. you will hit a wall to the north as well. turn east and move 7 steps.
Now you are in the middle of the store. if you hear a crate grab it. There are several empty shelves and a counter around you. so it maybe tricky to find at first. practice will help in here.
To get out just reverse the steps. west till you hit the wall. then south and back out through the broken window. you may have to side step left once or twice when heading south.
Once back outside head south till you hit grass. once on the grass turn and face east.
When you hear the sound of broken glass under foot. turn and run south in to the renovated business.
This place is super simple. just keep running south for around 15 tiles. you may have to side step around construction supplies.
After you have gone about 15 turn east and walk back out through the smashed doors.
When you hear your self walk through the doors and back on to grass. turn south and head that way till you hit the south boarder.
Then from there turn east and head towards the shoe store.
Once you hit the wall of the shoe store. turn and run north.
Run 10 to 12 tiles then turn east.
Run another 10 to 12 tiles side stepping any obsticles then turn north.
Run north the aim being to get out in to the servess alley.
Once in the alley run till you hit the wall then turn west.
Run west till you hit the parking lot turn north and run back in to video rental past GW Cellular.

With the windows broken here a few miner suggestions and tips.
From video rental, you can jump straight out in to the parking lot through the broken windows and in to the candy store much faster.
The same goes from the candy to jewelery store.
From the shoe store. some people don't bother with the servess alley. instead going in and back out through the windows in to the parking lot.
Once the main doors break on GW Cellular, You can duck in there and back out to grab crates. meaning you cut your need to go round through the video store.
