Beginner's Crossbow Recipie
- Before we get into the recipie, when this recipie refers to combining two things, this refers to putting two items together to make a new one. This is acomplished by putting the items in your hands, then pressing T. this is the combine key, and will make them into a new item.
- First off, this will require an unstrung bow. The bow recipe wont be included here because it is a longer recipe on its own. you can refer to the bow recipe if you do not already have an unstrung bow.
- You need to Combine Grass with Grass. This makes 1 String. You will need 3 String for your Crossbow. So do this three times.
- Note: To make 1 String you need a Minimum of 10 Grass. 1 String equals 10 Grass.
- You will need some cheap sandpaper for later in the craft, so make that now. First combine glue with paper, this will give you sticky paper. you will have to press T a few times to fully combine it.
- Then combine sand with your sticky paper, you will have to press T a few times again to fully combine it. When you are done, you will have 1 cheap sandpaper.
- Then it is time to start working on the crossbow body, first combine String with a Branch. This will make 1 Tied Branch. Again you will need to do this three times so you have 3 Tied Branch.
- Combine a branch with a string. This will give you one tied branch. You need to do this twice so you have 2 tied branch.
- Combine wooden triangle with branch. This will give you 1 wooden triangle for each one. Combine both your tied branches with a branch individually. This will give you 2 wooden triangle.
- Now with each of your wooden triangle, you need to combine them with glue. This will use a couple glue per wooden triangle. When you are finished you will have 2 sticky wooden triangle.
- Now you need to make a block for the lower crossbow frame. You start by combining wood with wood to get a precarious block.
- Add clay to the precarious block to get a normal block. that is clay + precarious block, combine those two together and you get 1 block.
- Next carve the precarious block by combining it with a knife. This will give you 1 carved block.
- Now you have to combine the carbved block with 1 of your wooden triangle. This will give you 1 lower crossbow frame. Now you will move on to making the upper crossbow frame.
- Combine knife with wood, this will give you 1 carved wood.
- Next combine your carved wood with the one 1 remaining sticky wooden triangle. This will give you 1 upper crossbow frame.
- Next you need to add glue to both your lower crossbow frame, and your upper crossbow frame. you do each of them individually. glue + upper crossbow frame, and then after that one is finished, glue + lower crossbow frame.
- When you are finished you will have both a sticky upper crossbow frame and a sticky lower crossbow frame. Combine these two with one another and you will have 1 rough crossbow frame.
- Now combine knife with your rough crossbow frame, this will give you 1 unfinished crossbow frame.
- Next you need to combine knife with unfinished crossbow frame. This will be carving channels in the frame for your staves and for the arrows. You will have to press T quite a bit of times. when you are finished you will have 1 carved crossbow frame.
- Next you need to combine knife with the unstrung bow i mentioned at the start. again if you do not have an unstrung bow refer to the recipes for the bow. When you combine knife with your unstrung bow you will get 2 crossbow stave. You will have to press T multiple times to cut the unstrung bow in half.
- Now you need to add glue to each of your crossbow stave individually. This will give you 2 sticky crossbow stave when you are finished.
- Now you combine 1 of your sticky crossbow stave with the carved crossbow frame. This will give you an item called unfinished crossbow with one stave.
- Then add the one remaining sticky crossbow stave to the unfinished crossbow with one stave. This will give you an unfinished crossbow.
- Now is when you need to use the cheap sandpaper you made at the start. You need to combine cheap sandpaper with unfinished crossbow. This will give you 1 unstrung crossbow. Your sand paper will fall apart when you are finished.
- then finally, all you need to do is combine string with unfinished crossbow and you will have 1 *crossbow.
